On the morning of May 27, the Standardization Technical Committee of Shanghai Services Federation (SSF) Standard Innovation and Development Center organized experts to conduct a technical review meeting of the group standard of "non-emergency transportation Service Specification". To meet the needs of epidemic prevention and control, this meeting was held online. The meeting was presided over by Wang Zongting, Executive Director of SSF Standard Innovation and Development Center.

At the meeting, Li Xiaoxu, Operation Director of Linglin Health, introduced the developing process of the standard and shared the series of work carried out during the consultation period of the standard. Since the epidemic, Linglin Health has transported nearly 10,000 patients to hospitals from eight subdistricts in Pudong, Changning, Putuo, and Baoshan.

The expert group gave high recognition to Linglin Health’s efforts in regulating the non-emergency transport market and agreed that, from the perspective of domestic and international development status, it is of great significance to construct a standardized, safe, and convenient non-emergency transport system, and it is essential to establish a standard for non-emergency transport service. This standard is developed based on sufficient investigation of domestic and foreign policies, literature, and standards. In the drafting process, the drafting members fully considered the status quo and development scale of the non-emergency transport industry, absorbed the core requirements of the current policies and regulations of relevant sectors, and ensured the feasibility of the standard. At the same time, this standard is in harmony with the current policies and standards, reflecting high applicability, and wide acceptance, which is conducive to building a comprehensive health service transfer system.

The successful passage of this group standard marks another major milestone of Linglin Health in developing standardized transport services, which will better meet the multi-level and diversified needs of the people for non-emergency transport and effectively protect the health, safety, and legitimate rights and interests of patients.
